The first test of the Arctic Jet Boat was already a complete success, showing surprisingly good stability. Even at speeds over 40 knots the boat felt safe and predictable. The test PWC had 220hp.
The hull of the Jet Boat is welded from high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE) and is based on the seaworthy A17 rescue boat hull. Docking and undocking the PWC is quick and easy, just unlock and drive in reverse.
The total price of the combo is cheaper than a traditional boat, and it has the power of a much bigger boat. Jet propulsion enables stationary operation and easy maneuvering around a victim.
